Belstaff, a British icon, renowned worldwide since its launch in 1924, it has become a byword for heritage, style and quality.
Most famous for its outerwear and Jackets, Belstaff was originally produced in Stoke-on-Trent, with the main focus on producing quality jackets that were both water and wind-proof and durable, resulting in what we know today as the waxed-cotton jacket.
Specialising in garments for motorcyclists, pilots and the armed forces, the styling influences are still apparent on its clothing to this day.
With almost too many famous jackets to mention, few stand out more than the ‘Black Prince’ motorcycle jacket, of which at one stage over 40,000 were being made every year and subsequently became the best selling waterproof jacket of all time!
Then came the ‘Trialmaster’ jacket which has become one of if not ‘the’ most famous Belstaff jacket of all time.
Popular with motorcycle enthusiasts worldwide and has been adorned by celebrities that include Steve McQueen, George Clooney and David Beckham to name but a few.
More recently the ‘Roadmaster’ jacket has become its more recognisable piece that is a slimmer more modern shape than the Trialmaster. Without losing any of its heritage and high quality features, the Roadmaster embodies all that is great about this truly British iconic brand.
